Privacy

The web compressor needs no account: we collect no personal data when you compress images anonymously. If you create an account (email + password, or magic link), we store your email and a hashed password / session token so you can see your history.
Uploaded images are processed solely to produce your compressed copies. Inputs and outputs are stored temporarily — up to 48 hours — and then permanently deleted by our hourly TTL cleanup. Result downloads are one-shot: each URL works once and is deleted after delivery.
We never use your images for training, advertising, analytics or any other purpose. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties. We never modify your original files — you always receive a separate compressed copy.
We keep minimal server logs (timestamps, endpoint, status codes) for security and debugging. Logs do not contain image contents. API keys are stored hashed where possible and are never shown in logs.
The web app uses browser localStorage only for your session token, display name, and consent choice — no third-party trackers, no analytics cookies. The cookie banner you see on first visit stores your choice (tp_cookie_consent) so it only asks once; you can change it any time via the “Cookies” link in the footer. See the full cookie policy for details.
